Biography
Judith Wiley graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1989 with a Masters degree in Social Work. Having passed the necessary exams, two practicums, and had her thesis approved, she started her social work career in Brantford.
After 2 years, Judith moved to Northern Ontario to work in a Family Service Agency where she developed advanced skills in the management and healing of domestic violence, childhood trauma, and marital and family work. While living in Northern Ontario, she often traveled to Michigan, to work with Dr. Neil Lamper who greatly influenced her learning and style. |

In the mid-90’s Judith returned to Brantford, took a year off to re-assess her interests, and while running the Detroit marathon decided to open her own counselling clinic.
Since 1996, Judith has specialized in trauma recovery, relationship and intimacy issues, family therapy, anxiety issues, and anger and pain management. She has worked with children as young as 5, and adults as old as 80. Along the way, Judith has facilitated groups and workshops, earned definitions such as “you’re straight up”, and “intense”, and completed a post-graduate Research Diploma from the University of Toronto, and a Masters Certification in hypnotherapy. Judith has a combined understanding of the mind and human development.
Judith is certain that each of us has a unique sense of purpose and meaning. We have a duty to integrate its promise into our everyday life and remain connected to our environment and/or community. Judith is a seasoned front-line therapist who values research, sensitivity, learning, structuring the process, metaphor and experience.
In 1998, Judith meet her life -long partner and started a family. Today, Judith lives in Brant County where she is an avid gardener, a promising cook, retired snowboarder, beginner painter, and pianist. She chops wood to heat her house and builds outdoor fires in the family fire pit as a gentle body re-focusing.
